A single-manual mechanical cone instrument built byPrague organ builder Emanuel Štěpán Petr in 1901 (Op. 138).The organ’s layout is not as rich as it first appears It seems. Some registers do not have their own whistles, but are created by merely mechanically linking two other registers. Thus, for example, the Portunal 8′ register is composed of the Kryt8′ and Salicional 8′, and the English 8′ horn is a combination of the Flute 8′and Gamba 8′.
The instrument has been repaired quite often in the past. For example in 1921 it was repaired by Václav Studený, in 1930 by KarelRyglevič (both from Hradec Králové) and in 1980 Jaroslav Skinny from Protivín. Unfortunately, even after several repairs, he was not the condition of the organ is satisfactory, among other reasons, because it has not been possible to to stop the massive worm infestation. In addition to the wooden whistles and airguns, the gaming table was also heavily attacked, from which theparts were falling off.
The local instrument was one of the first to be included in 2008in the newly established programme of the Hradec Králové Region to save the organ. The organ builder carried out the complete repair Ivan Červenka from Jakubovice, who had to replace most of the wooden components. The tool is now technically quite reliable, but its sound is marredby the predominance of basic whistle lines and lacks the necessary polish.
